I rented Razing Storm, played through arcade mode once and the first level of story and decided to send it back.

...and nothing beats original Time Crisis.

I'm still proud of my original non-platinum copy of Time Crisis.
        See you in hell.

All that matters is how responsive the analog is with the reticle.

I've played several on-rail games. They're not the same experience despite being of the same genre. So you can't really say that they all work the same.

In the Chronicle games you really need to hit the 'sweet spot' to gain points. Just shooting at the enemies regardless where you hit them, won't get you very far or even allow you to get the best grades at the end of a level (especially in UC). So its really important to be able to move the cursor in a fast and precise manner.

That's why the Wiimote or the Move are the best option for getting the job done. But hey, if you're uber-fast with analogs then it should work fine doing it that way too.
Stuff to remember: Avoid forums if you're having a bad day.

What I tried to express is that the rail shooters are playable with normal controllers. But you have a decisive point there with the Chronicles games that force you to hit sweet spots, so yes, sure it's better with Wiimote/Move, I wasn't thinking of that when I posted.

When it comes to Darkside Chronicles camera unless they fixed the way it seems to be held by someone in a fit I can see it being easier with a controller. You would just move the retical and wait for it to pass over the sweet spot, rather than need keep a perfect steady aim. Umbrella chronicles camera is fine so you can just aim and shoot without needing keep it steady waiting.

It'll be especially hard for Darkside Chronicles given the nature of its shaky-cam.

I said Capcom would probably do this... but I'm glad they are!!!

This means my Wii is now useful for one game. Fatal Frame 4... that is all.
