It seems Capcom does not like the motion-sensing capabilities of the PS3's Sixaxis controller. Video Gamers of America posted a news blurb about it this morning. Apparently, from an interview on Sunday with Gamer.TV, the Head of R&D for Capcom stated that :
Capcom will not be using the motion-sensing capabilities of the Sixaxis controller in any of their upcoming PS3 games. [We] believe that Sony implemented it just to be different, rather than to be innovative like Nintendo.
As the article mentions, those are pretty harsh words for Capcom to say. Then again, Capcom and Sony aren't the best of friends anymore anyway...
*Update*
Some more reports from users are coming in that VGoA has taken the quote out of context. Sources say that the response by a Capcom rep was more to the effect of:
"we aren't going to include motion control in our games simply because we can, we will only use if it's actually warranted in our game design philosophy.
