  • Capcom steams ahead

In an unsurprising move, Capcom has announced a partnership with Valve software, makers of Steam. You may recall a while back a podcast was posted which had a journalist supposedly revealing that Resident Evil 4 would be hitting Steam. It now seems that it was infact true, however an official release of the game has yet to be announced for the platform.

Thus far Steam will be delivering Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition, Onimusha 3, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, and Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix with "future titles yet to be announced".

Capcom will become the first Japanese publisher to distribute its games through Valve Corporation's Steam content delivery network.

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, Onimusha 3, Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition and Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix will all appear on the service soon. "Future PC titles" are also promised.

Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
Phew, what a short title. Why not add more "Hyper", "Mega", "Ultra" etc words?

I think you left out a few - "Alpha", "EX", "Plus", and "Championship". ;P

I don't know why CAPCOM doesn't make a Super-Ultra Street Puzzle Fighter II Hyper-Turbo Alpha EX Championship Edition-Plus, and just get it over with already. SF titles (to me) are annoying; to many to keep up with.
        I'm a blackstar.

I know it uses Direct X 10, so probably pretty high.

Both DX10 and DX9 in fact.

To be honest, I've never used STEAM. I've never been a big fan of PC games, but it would be really cool if those XP compatible re-releases of the RE2 and RE3 PC versions would be available in English from Steam. Looks like a pretty cool service from what I've read so far
