The E3 2007 trailer for Umbrella Chronicles has been released by Gamespot in high quality. The trailer is the Resident Evil version of the one posted below.

The footage comprises of locales shown recently in Famitsu. Sadly, it seems that the voice actors are new, so Wesker is no longer voiced by Waugh. However, the new actor seems to be imitating Waugh's own voice.

Dear lord, Rebecca, Billy, Wesker, Chris...None of them sound the same at all. Mega fail. Weskers fake accent at the end is just horrible. And it does seem that the Red Queen is in the game now. What the hell is going on ;_;

I think this all just goes to show how much of a low budget spinoff this is. And I think the Red Queen lines imply Wesker will be the character you control in the the "Umbrella Headquarters" chapter.

I've got to give the VA some credit, he does sound like Wesker, however it's definitely not the Wesker that normally comes to mind. The Wesker in that video clip sounded like a hillbilly-backwoods version; the accent is more noticeable than the actual voice acting itsself.

And I thought my WV accent was horrible...

Actually, I'm not entirely aware of the whole BlackCrow situation since I wasn't all that active in BF back then and I try to stay away from what appeared to be a flamewar... But that's another topic.

Personally, I think the Red Queen-esque figure would more than likely be in the likeness of Alexia if anything since in the movie the "head researcher" who's daughter the Red Queen was based off of was Dr. Ashford. Alfred had alot of free time so I guess he could have done it early on when Alexia was still in cryostasis... Then turned to transgenderism when he couldn't take the seperation anymore and developed her split personality within himself...

Honestly though, I swear if that Red Queen-voice says something along the lines of "You're all going to die down here..." I'm gonna laugh my ass off then cry alittle... Not because the movies were bad (they weren't), it's just gonna launch a shit storm with neophytes saying things along the lines "the movie is in the actual story line because of the red queen is in the series" or something to that effect.

The first movie could have fit into the RE plot, although the second film kind of screwed over any hope of that actually happening with all of the director's "creative licences"...

To stay on topic though, I do like where this game is going even if it's in first person and "on-rails" Wish it was more like the Remake though.

I can't wait to see a revamped Nemesis or one of the UBCS team members. We kind of know what the revamped Nicholai will look like (see Outbreak File 1, the "Decisions, Decisions" scenario) but as for Mikhail and Carlos... I want to see their cosmetic upgrades
