I am definitely looking forward to this game. Batman has been my favorite super-hero for years, simply because he's the guy that doesn't have super powers, yet he takes down the villains regardless of their strengths.
I wonder if the riddler will make an appearance in this game or whether we'll just be left hanging again.
Although with him being apprehended in arkham asylum if you completed all his challenges he could be lurking somewhere within arkham city now so hopefully we may get to see him
Looks like my wallet is sure going to have some rampage with the insane amount of titles this year. Arkham City's going to be one of my personal GOTY contenders that's for sure. Can't wait to see what Rocksteady has cooking up for this game.
Gears and Resistance can suck the fumes from the Batmobile exhaust. Uncharted however is going to be my main competition with Batman on which game I play more :O. Both are must buys.

I'd be more excited for Batman but Arkham Asylum really wasn't that great. The detective aspects, open-world parts and stealth areas were fun, but everything else was mediocre. Combat was weak. Boss battles SUCKED. Plus, Spider-Man > Batman anyways.
I can agree somewhat with the battles, but if you say the combat was weak, then clearly you didn't spend a lot of time with the challenge rooms or the harder difficulties of the main game. Stringing enough combos to get the points in challenge or to take down groups of enemies with no damage requires decent timing and proper reaction to incoming enemies. In the harder difficulty you don't get a marker telling you of incoming attacks as well, which makes it even more based on your timely reaction.
It's definitely more complex than any other super-hero game I've ever played once you start stringing together seamless combos which including punches, grapples, throwing batarangs, claw grabbing, counters, and take downs.
