From the director of Kick-Ass, it better be that damn good.

I still haven't seen Wolverine Origins. Largely because I love Deadpool.

It even contradicts Singer to a degree. Dr. Hank McCoy had a cameo in Singer's X2 before he becomes Beast and he was a much older man. This movie seems to delve into him becoming Beast at a much younger age.

It's pretty much a quasi-reboot-sequel. The kind of thing you'd get from Superman Returns, Punisher: War Zone and Incredible Hulk. Only replace sequel with prequel in this case.

Didn't read thread. What a dumb name for movie. Cheers.

I have some, hence why I haven't seen it. All I needed to know was Deadpool with a bunch of other mutant's powers and his mouth sealed shut.

admit idly its an interesting idea...ya know..on paper...maybe in a conversation....but not as a plot device for the climax.

I saw it. Its waaaay better than X3 and redeems the franchise for Xmen Origins:Wolverine.

Saw it already. It was good. Nothing outstanding, but a fun popcorn flick. Question is: How many more Super hero films can I endure this summer? Next up we have Green Lantern and Captain America unless I'm missing any others....

The film is the prefect showcase that us human beings are so good at crafting dark and intriguing experiences yet we don't quite get how to speak up about peace and prosperity.

I don't think the world is ready for X-Men 90210.
                        See you in hell.

I'm on my way to see this in about an hour...question to those who've seen it: is there a scene after the credits like in most Marvel movies these days? No spoilers please, just a yes or no answer. I don't wanna sit through the credits only to find nothing.

Nope, nothing this time around. Me and Emma watched this on the Saturday and I'd say it's one of the best XMEN films yet. Fassbender steals the show. He should be the next James Bond.

I love Fassbender. If you've never seen it, he play Azazeal in Hex, and does it awesomely.

Wow. What a movie. My initial impression was, it's in the top 5 best comic book movies of all time...but the more I think about it, the only movie I can say that was better was The Dark Knight. I think that First Class is a close second.

McAvoy and Fassbender were incredible, and the chick who played Mystique was really friggin' hot. Magneto was given all of the pwnage screentime you'd expect, and then-some. I hope to see a sequel in the future because I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Fucking amazing.

Sure, they took some liberties, mainly with Havok and Emma Frost, but as a whole, I thought the film was incredible...and apparently, so did the row of about 10 or 15 senior citizens sitting in the back of the theater. "What a film!" exclaimed one of them. "I enjoyed that very much," said another. FINE FAMILY FUN.
