Just wait until Arnold Schwarzenegger becomes President of the U.S.A.

He's well "armed." Plus, he can ride around in the Presidential "choppah."

Legally, he can never be president. Born outside of the country and all that jazz. Oh well.

I'd hate to be that man's oncologist once he gets older...

      Ahnold : It's not a TUMAH!!
Doctor : Uh yeah. You have a solid mass about the size of a golfball in your prefrontal cortex...
Ahnold: You ideeot! That's not a tumah! That's a tracking device! Haven't you ever seen any of my movies?! TOTAL RECALL, BITCH! *punches doctor in the eye*
      Doctor : @~#

I don't want Wesker to mutate into another meat blob (because that would be stupid and anticlimatic), but I want him to suffer somehow.
Maybe it would make sense for it to happen, but PLEASE, FOR CHRIST'S SAKE, NO WESKER-MUTATION.

Yeah I know about the citizenship issue. But I can dream, right?

"President Schwarzenegger, what is best in life?"

"To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear de lamentation of de women."

America wouldn't need an army, he would just go in himself.

A Bolivian dictator is threatening U.S. interests? No need for official military action, Arnold will take care of business.
            See you in hell.

I think it's possible that Wesker becomes more powerful as the game progresses. In earlier scenes, he doesn't even teleport. He just back flips, H2H and dodges bullets.

After he kills Spencer, he seems to develop God-like abilities. Hence, "The right to be a God. That right is now mine..." It's also possible that Spencer isn't the cripple that Wesker thinks he is. Afterall, he would have access to any one of Umbrella's mutant viruses. I think beating up the cripple will bite him in the ass later on.

I don't know, Colvin. As many have stated, the apparent "teleporting" may just be the current rendition of his speed (whereas in RECV he left a Johnny Cage trail of sorts).

Also, Wesker is doing his teleportation move in the castle showdown (with Chris) and in the aircraft hangar (versus Chris & Sheva).

I do agree with you though - as I imagine since Wesker's plan is to become a "god," he WILL become progressively more powerful.

I don't think he has too much power at all. I think the way in which they've presented him and where he is now considering where he's come from is a very interesting take on a bad guy that no many have done. His quote "The right to be a god...that right is now mine" doesn't mean he's godlike just yet, but he more than likely is getting close to it.

Just too much to say in a limited space. So I'll simply add these two cents here:

The difference between teleporting and incredible speed is this: Were you to teleport, your body would dematerialize for a few moments and you'd be able to form on the other side of a wall with the wall still in tact. Were Wesker to do the same thing, the wall would break down, because he's simply moving much quicker than any human can. So he's not teleporting, he's simply...quickly evading.

I don't care how powerful he gets, really, as compared to how badly I DON'T want him to mutate into some stupid creature.

You said a damn mouthful there, my friend. SERIOUSLY. Capcom would completely defeat the purpose if they did that.

But honestly, I don't think they will. I just think everyone tends to translate what he theorized in Umbrella Chronicles wrong.

Oh, really? And then in that case, I suppose that the redundancy of having every single villain in Resident Evil turning into some kind of blob like tentacle monster toward the end wouldn't seem in the least bit mundane to you then, would it?

The challenge will be there regardless of if he mutates or not. But the good storyline won't be if he does. It has nothing to do with challenge and everything to do with making Biohazard a quality story.

The final boss fight should be some kind of hand-to-hand battle between Chris and a weakened Wesker...

                              ...or something...

...just, ANYTHING except shooting a mutated monster with a rocket launcher! I'd like something different this time around.

                                Did Wesker really 'teleport'?

I thought he just moves REALLY fast.
